Mai Po Bird Pin - Pied Kingfisher | 米埔雀鳥 - 斑魚狗

One of four common species of Kingfisher at Mai Po. They mainly prey on fish, but sometimes also consume flying insects and frogs. It can be found at fish pond, gei wai and be seen all year round. Breeding had been recorded in the Reserve. It often hover high above water when foraging but seldom perches.
