Pennant Coralfish Magnet | 馬夫魚/關刀磁貼

Mainly inhabiting reef environment, the Pennant coralfish feeds on plankton and small invertebrates. Its body is white with two bold vertical black bands. The long dorsal fin arching over its back resembles a large blade, giving it the nickname “guandao” in Chinese, after a type of bladed weapon. They are usually found either alone, in pairs or in small groups.
